Scaffold (Standard Frame) and Ladder Awareness

This course is intended give participants classroom and hands on instruction in regards to the safe use of ladders and common scaffold (frame type scaffold).  Upon completion individuals will know how to select and use the related equipment.  Upon completion, participants will be able to locate and explain the regulations concerning ladders and scaffolds and develop a safety awareness of hazards when working on all types of scaffold work platforms.  Topics include legal requirements, causes of accidents and incidents, use, care, and maintenance of equipment, inspection, safety features and safe handling, erection and dismantling techniques.
